Specialized Programs
INFANT (0 - 24 months)
Our program will help your child explore their world in a safe & nurturing environment. The curriculum will focus on their primary development skills including motor, social, and communication. Children are encouraged to dance, reach, kick, crawl, and walk which will increase a child's muscle strength. Communication at this age is also a critical development point and we understand that listening is their first step in comprehension. Constant interaction such as talking, making noises, and singing among others will help infants during social skill development.
TODDLERS (2 - 3 years)
At this stage, our program will begin to initiate more advanced exercises to build on their communication, motor, emotional, and cognitive skill set. Their vocabulary bank will continue to grow in this phase. Recognition of others and self awareness will also be a key development area and how best to interact with other children. During this period, toddlers also start to experience the need for cooperation, sharing, patience, and other key emotional skills when working with others. Throughout these years, they will continue to build upon their cognitive abilities to learn, think for themselves, identify shapes and colors, and relate to their surroundings.
PRESCHOOL (4 - 5 years)
In preschool aged children, their learning ability increases dramatically. Here we introduce more complex ideas to build upon their earlier development in the areas of language, physical activity, and preparation for academic learning such as mathematics and science. Children will engage in structured hands-on activities to promote skills in literacy, problem solving, critical thinking, and general character building. High levels of interaction will continue to be a focus to ensure the children grow and succeed within the safety and care of our providers .
KINDERGARTEN (5 - 6 years)
For kindergarten aged children, all of the foundation skills start to come together and children start to expand on their knowledge by making their own connections during learning. Our program will build upon the school curriculum to ensure they become familiar with writing simple sentences, identifying numbers, recognizing patterns, etc. Their social aptitude and vocabulary level will continue to increase through interaction with other children and providers within the child care.
SCHOOL-AGE (6 - 10 years)
At this stage, the options available to the children are widened to include multiple before and after school activities to continue stimulating their learning outside of the school curriculum. Depending on age, activities can range from creating art projects to designing vast imaginative worlds of adventure using the plethora of exciting tools and games available to them in our child care. School-aged children will continue to build on their academics but will improve quickly in the areas of character education, home values, and interacting successfully with others. After school tutoring will always be available to ensure they obtain the necessary coaching and mentoring they need to be successful outside of the classroom.

What Kids Learn All Around the Classroom
It may seem like a lot of fun and games, but your child is actually learning important lessons as they play within the special areas of the child care:
Story corner: Just by listening and watching their teacher read Go, Dog, Go! your child is becoming familiar with basic literacy concepts, like reading left to right, and what words and letters are.
Puzzle table: Legos, and puzzles, and beads! Children improve their fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination when they play these games. Working independently also gives them practice problem solving.
Circle time: Learning to sit patiently, saying good morning, and talking about the day's events is a key part of your child's day. This fun town meeting gives them important practice for the skills they'll need to master for kindergarten.
Art area: Crayons, markers, safety scissors, glue, and paintbrushes are all great tools for mastering fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. And children love to talk about their artwork . It gives them practice with language and self-expression.
Block area: They'll gain basic math skills when they count them, identify their shapes, and compare their sizes. Building houses, roads, and forts help them hone spatial skills that will be helpful for geometry and physics later on.
Outdoor play: All activities help kids learn what their bodies can do. Children need to move and experiment to master balance, improve coordination, and develop their muscles. Group activities in the play area also teach kids cooperation.
